Have you ever wondered what to do with those old school uniforms, pony club blazers and team jumpers?
It can be difficult to throw away these items often full of memories of youth and the schoolyard.
But there is another way to hold onto them with company DW Design using these old uniforms to create new bespoke soft furnishings for the home.
Uniforms can become cushions, picnic rugs, duvet covers and more.
Upcycling is very popular at the moment and this gives decorators the opportunity to utilise items which would otherwise be packed away in a wardrobe.
The pieces are also fantastic as talking points and make for very unique additions to a room.
DW Design only creates its collections from recycled materials making it a good choice for people who are green minded.
Any combination of clothing or fabric can be remodeled into a long lasting and useful memento.
Currently the team is working on a pony club memory mat for a customer using jodhpurs, a tweed jacket, sweat shirt and badges in the design.
Each piece is handmade and finished with a waterproof or fleece backing.
