Factory chic with tobacco tin storage unit
Storage doesn't just have to be a practical part of your urban pad. The right stand-out piece can set the tone for your decor scheme and, if you are in a loft-style city apartment, this quirky tobacco tin unit just screams factory chic.
It's another product from Bubbledrum, an interiors favourite who source their items from factories, schools and other sources around Europe. Many of their items will provide dinner party talking points, not to mention drawing envious stares from your friends and neighbours.
The set of 75 removable metal tobacco tins are encased in a blue wooden surround, with hooks are attached to the top to allow hanging.
Our Bubbledrum spies tell us that the storage unit was sourced from an engineering factory in Essex, and probably used for indexing screws, nuts, bolts and washers. Nowadays, people use them both in the garage and in the house for storing cotton, needles, plasters, paper clips and so on.
It's priced at £185, available to order online.
