Vintage finds at Bubbledrum
Urban pads in a loft space or those that favour industrial style will look great with Bubbledrum's accessories. The online store is chock-full of original, vintage finds from factories, schools and outbuildings across the UK and Europe.
Pieces are salvaged, restored and sold by owners Steven and Caroline Cass. They came up with the Bubbledrum concept while refurbing their own urban pad, in Surrey. They scoured antique fairs and car boot sales for finds and eventually widened their seaarch internationally.
The store is divided into five sections: Furniture, Storage, Lighting, Accessories and Garden, each of which offers an array of vintage pieces as well as some reproductions and contemporary items that complement their range.
‘We love the fact that each object tells a story, and brings personality, originality and a sense of style to a home,’ said Caroline. ‘It’s also important to us that everything is affordable, and we do as much as we can to re-use, re-create and upcycle, even re-using cardboard boxes from our local furniture shop to help reduce our carbon footprint.’
Bubbledrum will happily source items upon request, whether for individuals, TV productions, opera or theatre.
The pictured Bubbledrum Angled Enamel Factory Light is priced at £155.
