Add a cocktail bar feel to your home

Tuesday, 6 September 2011 1:37 PM

When Cocktail hit the big screen in the 1980’s it led to a dramatic rise in the number of wannabe bar tenders who all fancied themselves as a budding Tom Cruise.

Hardly surprising when you consider the film took US$78 million at the box office. Cocktails though are still growing in popularity, down largely to the ever increasing number of bars rather than pubs.

If staying in is the new going out at the moment how about adding a real cocktail bar feel to your home, thanks to drinkstuff.com.

They have launched a range of neon signs but their iconic ‘Cocktail’ sign is likely to prove popular when it goes on sale next month.

The blue, pink, yellow and green sign is ideal for either putting on a shelf or mounting on a wall – maybe behind the optics.

It stands at 455mm high, 455mm wide and 80mm deep and uses 25W of power.

Customers can pre order the signs online now, costing £179.99, with stock expected to arrive at the end of October.
